webfact Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Motorbike taxi driver stabbed in Pattaya By Digital Admin - PATTAYA: -- On November 16 Pattaya police received reports of a serious assault outside the KTM Motorcycle Shop on Moo 10, central Pattaya. At the scene paramedics treated fifty-six year old Mr Wichai Huayyai for stab wounds to his left arm. He was later taken to Bangkok – Pattaya Hospital for further treatment. He told officers that he had stopped to urinate at the side of the street when he noticed an angry man approaching him who then attacked him with a knife. The suspect escaped but local witnesses directed police officers to a room at 111/256 Soi Buakao, South Pattaya where they arrested twenty-nine year old Mr Naruenart Gunmaen. However, after questioning, officers believed the suspect to be ‘unbalanced’ and not of a ‘normal mind.’ He has been detained for assessment. Pattaya28 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Imagine if everyone just stopped their motor-bikes and urinated at the road-side. The "not-normal" man wasn't wrong.
Retiredandhappyhere Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 In the circumstances of this attack I guess the victim was lucky it was his arm that got stabbed, as otherwise it might have been a long time before he was urinating anywhere painlessly.
berybert Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 However, after questioning, officers believed the suspect to be ‘unbalanced’ and not of a ‘normal mind.’ Cant blame that one on the Cambodians then.
