3G or 4G Alternative Network Provider Required

G'day Gents

 

Currently have 3G unlimited wireless internet with TrueMove-H on a week to week basis, e.g. I pay 89 baht for 7 days at 512kbps and then recharge on the 8th day, however when I would previously forget they would send me a message advising me that they have charged me 29 baht to keep me on the internet, and then I have to recharge at 89 baht to go for a further 7 days, suffice to say I don't like how these guys can get away with this, I would prefer to work it out myself, like, why isn't my internet working, oh, I have to recharge again, money in my pocket, not theirs, its the principal.

 

We don't have any provider that is prepared to put in a line/modem as they don't have people wanting that service in the village we are in, suffice to say it appears to be an outlay Vs user situation, not feasible for TrueMove-H.

 

So what I would like to ask is, does anyone have an unlimited internet that they use without being stitched for forgetting to recharge, they tell me I could go on a contract for 2 years and pay 995 baht per month or something like that, but what I have been using has been fine and I don't like contracts, apart from me forgetting to recharge every now and again, which pisses me off, It pisses me off more that they can charge me for reminding me and keeping me on line, now it has gone up to 49 baht as of today, I would rather work it out myself as previously mentioned and keep the change in my pocket for a beer as opposed to putting it in their pockets.

 

Any input will be greatly appreciated as usual.

I don't know much about True.

 

I just can tell you that AIS has the same price for this offer (7 days, 512 kBit, 89 Baht) AND an option to recharge automatically (subscription, "auto top up").

BTW: if you forget to recharge at AIS (without subscription) you will experience something similar.

As far as I remember it is a message like "you have used internet for 20 Baht now...".

 

Maybe an experienced True user can tell whether there is a subscription option too?

With True I have 4G illimited access for 490฿ a month

many times I forget to pay, and pay 2/3 weeks later.

Testing the speed regularly: dowloading  20/22 MBPS uploading 2.5Mbps

Sometimes my wife and I wondered if there is not a mistake somewhere for I paid that for 3 years now but it was supposed to be a promotion for the first year and after the first year being round 900฿ if (I remember well)

For my wife we pay now about 900฿ after the first year for the same service.
