Country needs energy security, premier says, and it was time people get help to stop the cycle of droughts and floods.

PRIME Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha said yesterday he plans to push forward with a number of projects, including “monkey-cheek” development and power-plant construction.

“We have to go ahead with our plans to keep pace with the changing world,” he said during a trip to inspect a royally-initiated project in Pathum Thani province.

The push will be similar to the miracle high speed trains that can't even see a 3km section started.....they simply do not have a clue how to expedite projects...!

But, you must give them credit for the frequency of their High Speed Announcements.

Maybe Prayut should use Article 44 on Mother Nature who is responsible for droughts and floods, not the people.

Much of a sayer but not much of a doer. As the saying goes "talk is cheap".

How about s 'big push/drive' by the govt. to start fitting gutters to roof tops and collecting rain waters in storage tanks... so much water wasted each year.

The PM is looking a bit tired and overworked these days. Bags and rings around the eyes are a sure sign.

If he means he is going to push ahead with coal fired power stations good on him. Can't expect the wheels of industry to keep turning on renewable intermittent power from solar panels.

Is the guy on the left following Dear Leaders finger for line of sight? Or bowing down below him to listen to his drivel?
