BANGKOK, 19 November 2016 (NNT) – The Ministry of Culture has assigned provincial authorities to gather information on provincial visits of the late His Majesty the King to be recorded in archives.

Culture Minister Vira Rojpojchanarat assigned provincial cultural offices to gather information and images of the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s visits to each province so they will be recorded in provincial archives and displayed at exhibitions.

The archives and exhibitions will be viewed by the general public, allowing them to show their love and loyalty to the late monarch.

The culture minister ordered the provincial cultural offices to amend their working plans for fiscal 2017 in order to comply with government policies toward the Thailand 4.0 goal and with changes in society such as its transition to an ageing society, requiring all cultural attractions to be accessible to the elderly and disabled.
