DLang
Do you mean from an auction? Yes, there are plenty of auctions of cars that are pawned or repossessed. Many people that run cars for sale businesses buy at them and then sell them privately. We bought a used car from a company, and later saw the receipts for which the bought it. We got a good deal on it, and it was still almost 40% more than they paid for it at auction. The problem is (for me at least) is that you don't get to test it before you buy it (I believe), so you are really buying it blind, but probably at a very attractive price. Lancashirelad
Pawn cars = finance repossessions or where people have literally pawned the car but never redeemed it. You would either take over the payments with the lender (finance co.) keeping the blue book until the loan is payed off or you need to ensure thar the loan has been cleared. sirineou
One thing to consider, A person that is not making his /hers payment and is about to be repossessed , I am sure is also not maintaining the vehicle.
