Residents in the Khao Talo atea and motorists using the Khao Talo railway crossing have been advised that a major road safety emergency exercise will take place on 13 July 2025, between 08:00 and 12:00. Wat Yan Sang Wararam Hospital, working with relevant agencies, will conduct a joint drill designed to improve the prevention of and response to road traffic accidents at the railway crossing. The exercise will involve a realistic emergency simulation, with ambulances, advanced life support vehicles, rescue teams and personnel from multiple organisations operating in the area. Authorities have stressed that the exercise is only a planned training event and have urged members of the public not to be alarmed if they see emergency vehicles or large numbers of responders at the scene. The simulation is intended to test coordination between agencies and strengthen their ability to respond effectively during real emergencies. The drill forms part of ongoing efforts to improve emergency preparedness, enhance the efficiency of assistance provided to accident victims and increase safety for people travelling on local roads. Organisers say practising realistic scenarios allows emergency services to identify areas for improvement and ensure a faster, more coordinated response when genuine incidents occur. Residents and road users are being asked to avoid the immediate area if traffic is affected during the exercise.
