Watney's Red Barrel was featured inna 'english pub' in Santa Monica when I lived in Venice in the late 70s...the place was fulla english types so I surmised: 'this must be what they drink in England...'

 

when I got to the UK 10 years later I never saw it served anywhere in my 10 years of bein' there...

Have not been in Thailand,and where i was in New Guinea had very limited to no internet access,so have not posted for some time,and now recovering from it,which may take a while.

We anchored out in Papua, NG a 4 mos. ago for a week. We weren't allowed ashore for our safety. What was your opinion on things there?

I go for work,but overall,bloody awful,and very unsafe in some areas.
