Remuneration Package

Featured Replies

Hi,

does anyone know the approximate basic salary that a sales person makes per month, excluding commissions?

And the approximate reimbursement of transport?

Thanks...

sales person ? a bit vague dont you think. Are we selling licenses for a fortune 100 software company or are we selling tiger beer on khao san rd ?

How about a sales person selling advertisement for a high-end Magazine? Or a sales person selling electronic equipment to shops in Malls.

Pretty low, i would have thought, given that Thai's can probably do it a lot better than you.

I'd hazard a guess and say around 30,000, but even that might be generous. Obviously, the structure of the commission would impact the level of the base.

Thai sales staff working for my wifes company earn a basic of 70,000THB/month+commission. In general, they come out with around 200,000THB/month.

Sales staff working in malls earn about 7,000basic, and come out with around 9,000 with their commission. Then, at stock take time, any missing stock is deducted from their salary package.

Your post is rather vague. Is it a farang sales person, or a thai sales person. What is the product? Does it allo wfor a good commission percentage? Will travel be required. Is it cold calling people, or face to face, pre arranged?
