dgoz
The tourism ad says "Amazing Thailand". Yeah right. What should it really say. Please give us your opinions. My vote is for "Farang, give us your money and go home."
Wolfie
if this degenerates into a 'slagging off Thailand' thread it will be quickly trashed and offending posters given holidays (in accordance to the forum rules - http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?act=boardrules) Be warned! Jai Dee
Just watch it here... humour is one thing, but from the Forum Rules... "extremely negative views of Thailand will not be tolerated". Yours is already borderline. /Edit - I see Wolfie's beaten me to the public warning... ah well, I'll leave it here anyway just so you know da mods are watching. Mig15
"Amazing Thailand," was form about four years ago anyway. Its a bit out of date now. What is the new one, I can't remenber.
dgoz
So what you're saying is that we can comment and give our opinions and advice about living in Thailand as long as it's only positive? OK. I retract my slogan and here's my new one. Thailand is a non-racist country that welcomes foreigners as there own and it's a great place to invest money and intellectual property. The police and government are not corrupt and really like Farangs and they would never think of extortion of a Farang owned business. The people are hard-working,sharp witted and far from lazy and appreciate that if someone poors their heart, sole and money into an enterprise in Thailand that they actually need a return on that investment. They would never think of ripping you off blindly because you're a foreigner.
