New water pipes laid under 3rd Road

PATTAYA:-- The Provincial Waterworks Authority improved water flow for Third Road-area residents by replacing small water mains.

Workers began Nov. 18 near the Vespa motorbike dealership and moved northward over the next three days, digging up the old pipes and laying new ones.

Pipes in the area are now 20-centimenters wide and should provide better water flow for area homes and businesses, the PWA said.

This is why we (and the surrounding area) had no water for over two weeks until last Monday.........

Water flow was fine before and not noticed any difference since..............

Also from the picture of the pipe they laid it south of the Vespa building as well as well and the brick block pavement is in an even worse state then it was before.......

They had to dig it up for some reason, it must of been the only road in a 5 mile radius of Pattaya not to be dug up at this time.

Should be a nice bumpy resurfaced patch for me on my bike, I hardly have any teeth left!

Why don't they hang the pipes up in the air as they do the cables.

Yes just like the left hand lane of South Pattaya road, they dug up from suckhumvit to tony's in one go... took months to lay the pipe more months to fill the trench back in.
Now after many years the left hand lane is still very bumpy forcing bikes into the path of cars coming up behind lots of times the car is speeding "to go meet his father" as the Thai like to say.
