Only if you are doing an application at one of the 4 offices that have been asking for a verification of the consular officer's signature that did it.

I have posted them before in earlier discussions.

Nonthaiburi, Pathum Thani, Ayutthaya and Hua Hin. Best to check if they still want it before having it done.

I had a friend who went to ChonBuri and he was rejected as his stat dec was not stamped by the other Thai dept.

Avoid jomtien. I was told I needed verification and in the same breath she said she could do it for just a 15k payment lol

Jomtien immigration only ask for it when doing an application for a conversion to a non immigrant visa from a tourist visa or visa exempt entry. They do no ask for it to apply for an extension.

That might be it as he was asking for a conversion, BUT I did do my extension and had to supply a stat dec for income.
