November 30, 20169 yr I have a work permit and my stamp in my passports says Extension of Stay until Dec. 31st 2017. There is a Re-entry permit stamp that says multiple and is also stamped with a Dec 31st 2017 date. There is an asterisk with the words "* To keep your stay permit re-entry permit must be made before leaving Thailand" I am guessing that is part of the Extension Stamp. I am flying to the US for Christmas, do I need to do anything before I leave as I have the re-entry stamp already in my passport? Thank you in advance, Jeff
November 30, 20169 yr You don't have to do anything before you leave. When you return be sure to check they notice the Re-Entry Permit and stamp you in until 31/12/2017. Write the Re-Entry Permit number in the Visa number space on the arrival card.
November 30, 20169 yr The message about a re-entry permit is part of the extension stamp. You don't need to do anything before leaving the country. Be sure you put the re-entry permit number in the space for a visa number on the arrival card when you return.
