‘Bangkok bomb plot’ suspects re-arrested after being freed by court

Police claimed Wednesday they had arrested three suspected Muslim insurgents who had planned to launch bomb attacks in Bangkok.

 

But Deputy Police Commissioner Pol General Sriwarah Rangsipramkul admitted that the three suspects had earlier been freed by a Narathiwat court after being detained by the military before the police re-arrested them.

Sriwarah identified the three suspects as Talmeshi Totalyong, 31, Abdullashi Luakraji, 19, and Mubahri Kana, 22. They are all residents of Narathiwat.

The three were earlier detained by soldiers who invoked the emergency law but the Narathiwat Court freed them on Tuesday.

So now we have southern terrorists running terror cells in Bangkok now. Is there no place safe from terrorists? What a world we live in. Now I partly understand why Brexit and Donald Trump got the votes. Although I blame the minority not the whole 9 yards.

These suspects rented a room to build bombs in Samut Prakan just 1 KM away from my shop. 

The military uncovered plans for them to place bombs around the area and in the shopping mall that I am in.

RTP please do your job and keep these terrorist off the streets.

I think all forces should be on alert not just the police. It's not the job of the police to fight terror alone. All relevant resources must be used together to fight the maniacs with bombs. I still think the Erawin shrine bomb was a southern terrorist bomb not an Urghur. An opinion no evidence.

Muslim Insurgents or terrorists.  In the world right now, who is doing most of

the fighting, In Syria, Iraq, Libya, Africa, surprise, all of these and  even in

Afghanistan  are Islamists.  I think the only non Islam fighting is

taking place in the Ukraine . Correct me if I am wrong

These are allegations made by the Thai security forces, not established facts as you seem to assume. In any event, your chances of being killed by a terrorist in a shopping mall or anywhere else are less than dying from a bee sting, so please DON'T PANIC!!!@!@!@!!!

PANIC OR NOT do u think its good to hear alleged news like this? how would u feel if u heard there's a terrorist cell building bombs next to your house? 

 

Its always good to be more careful and vigilant in times like these. I would be thankful for the RTP and RTA for keeping me safe on this one this time.

 

Fact of the matter the terrorist was indeed caught 1km away from my shop. Fact of the matter he did rent a room 1km away from my shop.

Sounds like absolute made-up rubbish to me.

 

They were let go by a court (how often does that happen here?) then re-arrested by scumbags under draconian legislation where they're not accountable to anyone. Sounds fair....
