Recommended US expat mail service

Featured Replies

I am living in Thailand and need to start using a mail scanning and forwarding service.  Please let me know any recommendations and/or negative experience have had with a particular service.  Thank you

I use USA2Me.  The service has been good.  It can be a bit costly if you have anything mailed to you. But, I mostly use it for scanning and if need be, I make a copy of it.  Have even made a copy of a check and then did a mobile deposit to my bank.  They are located in Houston, TX  so I have a Houston address. Since I am from Texas anyway, it worked out good for me.  I use it as an address for all my banking business and credit cards.

Postscan Mail has worked like a charm for me for the past several years.  Various plans but their $14.95 per month plan is fine for me

If you are in the US it is much easier to start it from there since  these mail forwarder must keep a notarized Postal Form 1583 on file  ( Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent)

NOTE: The applicant must execute this form in duplicate in the presence of the agent, his or her authorized employee, or a notary public. The agent provides the original completed signed Form 1583 to the Postal Service

I use scanmailboxes.com out of Austin, TX.  Good service, reasonable prices.
