E-Cig Juice in Thailand

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows the law on E-Cigs in Thailand, I do know that they are now banned but however can anyone please enlighten me on the following:

I am currently working in Saudi Arabia and smoke an E-Cig, I usually get my friends to bring some juice from the UK for me when we meet up in Thailand.

Can anyone tell me if it is against the law to bring the juice in from the UK as I don't want anyone getting into trouble when entering Thailand.

P.S. If anyone knows of anywhere in Pattaya that I can purchase the juice, please send me a message to my inbox.

as far as i know they are illegal here . i would imagine that if you got caught with it on your person ,you could be arrested .

From memory I was paying between 300 and 400, its been 12 months since I bought any though as I stopped vaping.

Cigarettes are legal, but not e-cigs.. What the hell.

And they won't just fine you, but actually arrest you for vaping?? Thailand is so damn weird some times..

Follow the money.  The reason it is illegal here is because the Thai Tobacco Monopoly hasn't figured out a way to tax it, so it is easier to outlaw it.  Cigarettes already have a tax system in place, so they are treated differently

 

I have yet to hear of anyone being arrested for either using or purchasing e-juice so a posters' "I would imagine" is hardly a fact

Some I buy in Thailand and have delivered; some I bring from Europe and Australia ( just 200 or 300mls at a time. No one in customs has shown any interest and neither does security screening. I suspect they are more interested in large scale importation for sale rather than individuals.

So is there anyone on this super duper forum able to tell expats and people coming to visit Thailand if its ok to vape and bring your own juice or order online while you are here without some <deleted> saying its illegal or a mod who I think should be helping on this one posting ILLEGAL CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At Dubai airport i saw many smokers in the lounge who just had purchased one there and were testing it.

 

You can try to bring it and declare it at the customs? Worst case they confisticate it...
