Hi guys wondering how would it be like compared to say BKK or Pattaya?

its impossible to answer  that. There is 5000 places in each area where you could spend NYE , and each of them would be  different from the other.

I believe fireworks will be toned down everywhere this year, but there will be drinking and partying all over.
