The Japanese invasion of Thailand occurred on 8 December 1941. It was fought between Thailand and the Empire of Japan. It is said the fighting resistance in southern Thailand, lasted only 4 ½ hours before ending in a ceasefire.

Try looking here, or doing some research before posting.

The government of the day in Thailand ordered the ceasefire and it lasted longer than 4 1/2 hours. The Thai Army, Navy and Air Force would have carried on fighting but were ordered to ceasefire.

What do you mean "in case"? He is resisting arrest for a while, already?

How does one resist arrest if no one has tried to arrest him?  The only thing I've seen him resist is their invitation, and unfortunately, that is not an offense, at least yet.:wai:

Resisting. Never. What do they think he has been doing for the last few months. Praying, resting and investing?

Does anyone know if he is still there??

Yes, his mates said so, and the police think so, so it must be true.

The entire situation is beyond farcical, but having to keep reading updates about it every day is kind of like watching a sporting event between two teams I couldn't care less for.

Maybe the Army can have a go after they are finished arresting a taxi driver in Phuket.
