Has anyone not of Thai birth gone to stand in line to pay respect at the palace? I have been told no foreigner allowed.

We have seen farangs on TV paying their respects....

I can't believe that, op. Who told you that? Will be going myself at some point, let us know how it goes.

Headed there next week. Just didn't want to do all that travel and waiting if what the wife's friend said was confirmed by someone who has actually gone there. It didn't sound right to me.

A lot of the international students from my Uni went there, Germans, Japanese, Canadians and so on. They faced no problem what so ever except from the long waiting in line.
