PRD officials join in weekly exercise in line with Govt policy

BANGKOK, 8 December 2016 (NNT) – The Public Relations Department (PRD) has implemented the government policy to have state officials exercise every Wednesday in order to improve health and work efficiency.

This afternoon, PRD Deputy Director-General Dr Charoon Chaisorn hosted an exercise session at the PRD Headquarters. The activity was participated by department executives, civil servants and staff. It was organized following Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha’s instructions to all government offices to lead their personnel in doing physical exercises on Wednesdays, aiming to create a healthy, stress-free and refreshing environment at work.

Dr Charoon pointed out that the weekly activity is being held in line with the Prime Minister’s wishes to ensure good health among government officials and persuade them to take better care of themselves. He said being physically fit is vital to all workers as it can enhance their creativity and enthusiasm, improving their overall work performance.

Six people exercising, 25 taking pictures so it's properly documented and office closed all afternoon so those involved could go home and change into suitable clothing for the photo shoot!

I look forward to seeing the 5,000 Thai military flag officers and their mid-level officer staffs exercising every Wedsnday in order to "improve health and work efficiency." One never knows when the next coup unexpected regime change might occur to protect the country from "democratic chaos."
