Can anyone put me on to a decent, affordable gym within walking distance of the Nana Hotel please? A/C preferred.

Are you looking for machines and/or free weights?  I know the JW Marriott has a pretty good gym, many of the normal cardio vascular machines as well as some free weights.  However, I think it is pretty expensive.

There is a Fitness First Platinum at the Landmark hotel. It has a good balance of machines, free weights, and body weight exercise gear. I've been a member for several years. Whether it is affordable or not is an individual matter. 

The best price is at The Ambassador hotel Soi 11.  They have all the equipment, it is just older. Many free weights and cardio.  Jacuzzi and pool included with membership.
