December 10, 20169 yr Hi... I'm just asking for a bit of advice from anyone who has actually bought a house or condo in Thailand. Looking at properties down south in the Krabi area...I wonder how much below the asking price is a usual offer...? ...where I come from you'd take at least 10% off right away.... is it the same here do you think...?
December 10, 20169 yr How long is a piece of string ? Lots of variables, some developer condos are stupidly priced but people keep paying it. Other condos may be priced right but no one buys them. Research is often hard, finding out about past sales etc. Its a buyers market so make stupid offers. Asking price is often completely ridiculous and no were near sales price.
December 12, 20169 yr Been around Krabi 11 years most property is well overpriced ,depends how rich you are really ,,,if loaded a lot of it looks like cheap compared to western prices but then again that's not really the way to look at it.....good luck...oh and any one else gets involved to help you you can bet your bottom dollar they will be adding shed loads of commission on its just the way it works here.
December 17, 20169 yr Try. a silly offer, and you can always work on that..... but as an earlier poster remarked,... Easy to buy......but Difficult to Sell....., it won't happen overnight...l
