In order to understand ourselves a little better, it might be illuminating to know who we are.

It is often interesting to read povs on different topics. We share some ideas communally and disagree quickly, quietly or otherwise on others. However we all share Thailand as being a focus. I assume most either live in or have lived in Thailand but retain strong affinities.

60 plus.

Other.

Post Graduate.

Why should we vote on whether you really love England?

Definition of Anglophile :  a person who greatly admires or favors England and things English

Just seems a bit odd that's all.

Nobody said you had to be honest with your selections.

Thx Don!!  Anglo phone is the error.

Are we supposed to select the choice that represents ourselves, or what we think the average is?

OK, I've fixed the poll at our OP's request, one assumes that "Anglophone (English native speaker) from England" actually means from the UK.

@canuckamuck I assumed one should vote for what we are, but maybe not now you ask :(

If answer about yourself, the data becomes more descriptive as a host.

For what purpose is the data being collected ?

  • Author

When has TV ever needed a purpose?

Informs posters what may or may not be known. Speaking to themselves or others.

Clearly question two is incorrect. The alternatives should be Anglophone OR Anglophone (from a former colony) OR other

Click bait.... oh bugger!

Older than Methuselah.

Anglophobe.

Skipped school (mostly).

What is so important about knowing if people are From England ? I mean that is a totally specific question and not even something about the USA (a far larger country ) Other countries are not named just England.. bit odd.

Also I fail to see how these questions help at all. Because the data is not further separated. You can't even make a statement on the data. If it showed like people from the UK have a certain education.. people from outside have this education ect.. then sure some merit. Now it shows nothing no separation at all.

Anyway have fun with it
