Hey guys, I'm at the end of a 30 day extension(3 days left). What are my options? I'm in Mae Sai. Can I cross the border here? I dont mind staying a few days in Myanmar.

I have a Christmas event planned in Chiang Rai on the 25th, so I cant miss that.

Any suggestions guys?

You will not be allowed to cross at Mae Sai unless you have a valid visa for re-entry. They do not allow crossings for a new visa exempt entry.

The nearest crossing where you can do it is the Chiang Khong crossing to Laos.

You could also apply for a 7 day extension, pay 1900 baht and be given 7 days to leave the country.

In order to take your car into Laos you would need a passport for it issued by the department of land transport. Also if it is financed you could not be take it out of the country.
