bought train tickets from a friend, now want to reschedule

Featured Replies

Hi, i bought some train tickets from a friend who couldn't use them

Now i want to reschedule

Any issues with changing the start and stop dates other than availability?

I did a quick search but didn't get a hit on the topic.

Thanks in advance and happy holidays to everyone :)

- the fact that the tickets were purchased by someone else doesn't matter. Train tickets don't have a name on them

- a small rebooking charge may apply; 10% or so.

- going from memory on this part; I think that rebookings will be accepted until a few hours before departure time of the original ticket, something like 2 - 4 hrs.

Thanks allane.

This one was purchased from a travel agency and does have some parts of the name on it thats been typed out.  Still I didn't expect a problem other than availability, but it couldn't hurt to do some checking prior :)
