Two dead as 15 year old students stabbed in rival school fight

NAKHON SI THAMMARAT: -- Two 15 year old students are dead following an after school fight in the street in Nakorn Sri Thammarat yesterday evening.

 

One M3 (Year 10) student was dead from a chest wound at the scene while another died from a neck wound in hospital shortly thereafter. A six inch blood stained knife was found in the street, reports Daily News.

 

Witnesses told police that two youths had jumped off a "song thaew" after the vehicle had passed the Maharat Nakorn Sri Thammarat Hospital in Sai Ratchadamnern Road.

 

They went after six other boys from a rival school who were riding on two motorcycles.

 

Two of the boys were stabbed one dying at the scene and the other succumbing to his injuries in hospital. Both victims were just 15 years old and were not named.

 

Police said they know the identity of the assailants.

At 15 they are nearly classed as adults already. Shame there heads are empty.

The same mindest as most Thai 'adults' it would seem.   Violence trumps commonn sense or logic.
 

Thai males... immature, insecure and short-tempered children with violent tendencies at 8, at 15, at 30, at 45, at 60, and pretty much every age bracket in-between. Indeed, a majority of them never seem to grow beyond the unstable emotional state of an 8-year-old at all. Sadly, they're all products of their society.

This happens all over the world in gang fights and drive by shootings especially in the U.S. These kids too much testosterone too little brains

Sad to say it sounds like this mindless type of behaviour is spreading here from the UK where this goes on every single day. Just spent several months back in England where the news includes daily reports of stabbings, especially involving youngsters.

Lack of social education and good conducts are thought at the early age!

 

Schools should report the rivalry to police, so that it can be controlled by giving counseling by parents and police.

I'm one of those guys who has been kicking around Thailand for decades. I've got to say I'm saddened by the downward trend and increase in violence amongst Thai folks. To a lesser degree,  I would  say that the foreign element has become increasingly shameful. Humans are losing it...

I wouldn't say there is an increase in violence, its only that we have social media where news travel faster and broader. I would say school rivalry is on a decrease, in the past there were more frequent fights and shootings on public buses.

from taxi drivers to school kids, it seems every member of the male species in Thailand is tooled up, be it with a gun.club.sword or knife. never seems to enter their pea sized  brains about the consequences

The white body bag, seems quite small for a 15 year old boy !

Maybe fighting over some hot school girl in a short skirt ? So I guess she was worth dying over.

She will cry tonight and have a new guy by Friday. Saturday he will be buying her a new iphone.

Monday afternoon, there will be another fight over the same hot girl.

Senseless and needless deaths can be minimised though by making access to weapons illegal and thus much more difficult to obtain.

Just imagine if they used their full capacity for learning instead of killing eachother.

Totally agree. Violence among teenagers or adult is something unheard of in the west...
