insiket
What are the rules on reporting your address in Thailand with Immigration. Does a phone call suffice? Or do you need to go there in person? Regards, Insiket
ubonjoe
A phone call not would not be accepted Whether you need to report your address depends upon the office you have to use. If you have not changed your address most offices do not expect you to report. If you are on a short term stay and will not be doing anything at immigration you don't really need to worry about it. insiket
Hi Joe, Thanks for your reply I have not changed address, and am only visiting for a few weeks. I just rang the office I always use and the lady went off on one saying I need to be there in person, Last year, I was told to call them as they have all my info on file. I decided to report as 6 months ago I was told immigration were checking out the farang watering holes in my area.
