December 21, 20169 yr I got a traffic infringement for failing to keep left where it is obvious that I'm overtaking from their evidence photos (there's a vehicle in the middle lane less than half a second ahead of me). I'm overseas at the moment and won't be back until March. How do I dispute this?
December 21, 20169 yr You have to let it go to court for that, afaik there are no other appeal options. No idea how long that process takes though.
December 21, 20169 yr Setting your self up for some real PITA. As no points on drivers licenses here - so no insurance ramifications for a ticket - pay your money and be done with it.
December 24, 20169 yr Author Hmm well that sucks, it seems anything I do would cost more than the 1000 baht fine. Thanks for the advice anyway
December 24, 20169 yr Just ignore the letter. You will probably get another ...ignore that one as well. When you go to re tax the car ...you will either be asked to pay the fine or you won't ...probably the latter. Our TOT guy has a stack of them ...told my wife not to bother paying hers as this pay-before-you-are allowed to renew probably won't happen...YMMV..☺ Edited December 24, 20169 yr by JAS21
