RT1983 Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Hi everyone, Does the universal coverage scheme for Thai nationals also cover minor accidents treated in overseas hospitals? If yes at which % ? Thanks a lot!
chiang mai Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 It's called Universal Health coverage but it's for inside Thailand only, nothing for overseas. Inexpensive health insurance is easily available in Thailand to cover medical expense overseas, figure about 7k baht per year (age 35) from most insurance brokers.
Victor Paul Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I am looking for a Universal Health coverage for inside Thailand only and in addition, a travel insurance when I travel outside of Thailand. Can you advise me with a name and details? Thanks

Can you advise me with a name and details? Thanks I can't but AA Insurance brokers are sponsors of Thai Visa and Peter knows his business very well, I suggest you email or call them for a quote. FWIW I've bought several policies through them. http://www.aainsure.net/insurance_pattaya.html
