Army questions Single Gateway opponents

ABSURD! The only word IMO to define this: 'Army questions Single Gateway opponents'!

What on earth should(!) the RTA have to do with civilian matters, may I ask?

There is a, military, 'government' (and a 'parliament', manned with scores of 'big brass', military and police, active and retired), so, why not have the 'government', its minister responsible for such a matter, I mean, make this declaration?

Not strong enough a statement? Then there still is the NCPO, hovering above the 'government, which could have.

But NOT the Army!

I know bloody well it's all same-same, but when the military do not care to show an atom of respect even for the appearances anymore...

Oh my, where the need for an opposition, when the team-in-power systematically goes on shooting itself in the foot (or what's left of it by now)... Next they might even criticise others for 'damaging the image of Thailand', maybe...

This involvement is because another section isn't responsible for the government like the Westminster system and if you know the Westminster system you will know,  until something like that is introduced here in Thailand it will remain always a toss pot run government and country , with the RTA running the show , any thing else said  as I am getting wound up here,  would be LM.

I don't see how it affects farang. I still have fast wi Fi and apart from a very poor attempt to stifle porn there really is no adverse effect unless your planning some type of activity against the government but they are already getting smashed on TV Every day nearly every thread and... nothing

How do you know that the attempts to stifle porn are poor?

You need to be over 18 and it doesn't sound like you are

So you are just going to make blanket statements then not back them up when questioned. That says it all about your credibility.

You can beg all you like but I'm not telling you. And I'm sure dad has it blocked on your PC anyway.

They would need a single internet gateway data centre because you could not pass the volume of traffic through a single server. It would need to be load balanced probably across hundreds of servers. But of course filtering of traffic will slow internet access down. So dont expect fast internet and expect delays as your content is analized before its allowed to pass or be blocked. For a society that is allowed to freely do what they want the Thais are in for a suprise on how much freedom they will loose once this is implemented. So i would expect alot of objection to loosing what freedoms they currently have.

I wonder if the Chinese are helping them?

My father is dead.

As said, you make blanket statements then you won't back them up when questioned. That says it all about your credibility.

I hope your not silly enough to have the book in Thailand, or have a copy on your PC.

I used to know a old Australian eccentric who had a copy of that book, he kept it in a plastic food container buried in his garden. One day he phoned and asked me if I could look after the book as he thought his house was being watched by the army.

I would rather be caught watching porn than with that book.

Clicking 'like' or writing 'ja' on Facebook for a start..

If you agree, it is the same as writing the words, or statement.

If you say " I don't believe in God "

And you press agree.

What does that mean ??

Make your mind up; is it a 'like' button or an 'agree' button? The two aren't the same.

If they also manage to block VPN connections you can buy a small satellite dish and pay very high rates for internet . I would do it I think or else the next step would be to move to Cambodia...

I would love to write a few lines on the topic,
but i do not write anything better.
I'm afraid that there might be problems later,
for my thai family and me.
Sorry and sad about this.
