Apply for Marriage visa in KL, any experiences?

Featured Replies

Aloha Gents, happy holidays...

Came back to Thai on a Tourist visa, went down to immigration, my wife misunderstood. I must apply for a nonB and apply for the marriage visa outside of Thailand, such as KL or Penang.

Any comments for suggestions or experiences?

Cheers Mates

if married to a Thai, you can apply for a 60 day extension, or you can convert tourist visa to a non immigrant 'O' visa within Thailand and then apply for a 1 year extension reason married to a Thai ( financials required)

Could you explain what you mean?

If you have tourist a visa you can convert to a non immigrant visa entry at immigration that would allow you to apply for an extension based upon marriage.

You can get a single entry non-o visa based upon marriage in Vientiane or Savannakhet Laos with no financial proof.

In Penang you would need to show 200k baht in the bank.

Maybe with 400k baht in the bank you would get one in KL.
