Hi,

I flew into Thailand minus a visa, on a one-month stamp which expires on Thursday. Could anybody tell me if it is possible to obtain a multiple entry non-O visa from Vientiane Laos and what documents are required please. The visa that's valid for a year.

Vientiane does not issue any multiple entry visas.

If married to a Thai you can get a multiple entry non-o visa in Savannakhet Laos.

Thanks Ubonjoe that's encouraging. Never been to Savannakhet so will head there. Is it possible to fly there from Bangkok are you aware or must it be a land crossing and what's the border checkpoint please. Thank you.

its a 2 day process apply in the morning collect after 2pm the next day thread here -

You can fly to there from BKK on Lao airways but it is expensive and the one flight a day arrives to late to apply and the departure time is before the next day pickup time. It requires a 3 night stay.

The Thai side of the bridge is in Mukdahan.

You can get flights from Don Mueang that are a fly/ride service to Mukdahan. Nok Air has more choices since they offer the ride side from 3 different airports.
