Casualties up on last year after 2 days

Featured Replies

Well if they virtually  all break driving laws everyday, why should they suddenly change for a few days? Absolutely no way they will. There is no respect for driving laws anywhere, so any campaign is pointless, save the money.

Thailand being number 1 behind Libya in road deaths per 100,000

Why is this?

I have been in cars (taxis etc) that tailgate, and the driver thinks he is being clever.

23 dead in this crash.   100s of family members'' lives ruined for decades.  Funny?  Clever?  Sanook Sanook?  Mai Pen Rai?

What westerners fail to understand is that thais don't need safety belts and helmets or lengthy driver's education. They have Buddha on a string hanging by the windshield.

As do I, I guess thats why I'm still alive after 40+ years of driving cars and motorcycles on Thailands roads.:cheesy:
