KANCHANABURI: -- A search is on after a father and son went missing while out on a fishing trip at a Kachanaburi reservoir.

 

Kiatsorn Choikhreua, 42 and his son Jaruthat, 22 set out in their own boat on the Sri Nakharin reservoir on Saturday. They had been staying in the area with mum Natcha Iamla-or, 39, who alerted authorities when they failed to return, reports Daily News.

 

But a search of the area on new Year's Day revealed no sign of the father and son - rescuers just found a jerrycan of fuel floating along with some food packages.

 

By nightfall they had still not been found and the search was called off. It was set to resume in daylight this morning.
