Video: crazy driving as drunk woman drags motorcycle under pick-up for three kilometers

PATTAYA: -- A video is doing the rounds of social media after a drunk woman driver hit a motorcycle and dragged the bike for three kilometers before stopping.

 

The woman only stopped because she could go on no longer as the bike had burst into flames, reports Daily News.

 

But oblivious to the situation she just sat by the road while other people put out the fire.

 

The latest madness on the Thai roads happened in the Pattaya area on a soi leading to Sukhumvit Road on Tuesday.

 

The video was posted by a motorcyclist who saw the white pick-up approaching with the bike wedge underneath. Sitthichai Phonsrisom turned round and followed with his mobile recording for evidence purposes.

 

After the pick-up stopped and the woman got out the motorcyclist involved in the accident arrived on the scene. He said the accident occurred three kilometers away.

 

He was only bruised and cut but his wife had been taken to hospital.

 

Na Jomtien police arrested the female driver of the pick-up. She was charged with negligent driving causing injury, drunk driving and fleeing the scene of an accident.

 

She was bailed in the sum of 100,000 baht.

It took some time for my brain to register that idiots like this actually exist. 

Dragging a bike under the car for several kms and only stopping coz you aren't able to go further. That's a new low. 

I strongly believe that sandwiches are her thing...

She kept going because her brakes failed.

There is always a person blowing his whistle to make sure the situation is fully confused.

The bikes brakes work fine. You can follow the 3km skid mark.

I wonder if she will take a holiday in Singapore?

i know an english guy who did a similar thing dragging a bike, and its female rider under his truck. she died and it cost him 250K and a night in the can.  suppose this female driver will get off with a fine.  might be a bit more as her deed was caught on camera.

Good to see that the gasoline fire was put out with water , some people really don't know anything.

Headline should read "Drunk driving by drunk woman.." not crazy. Let us not insult crazy people. This is right up there with son of red bull, except the cop was still with the bike while it was being dragged.... any updates? Does he still have the flu?

She kept going because she hoped it would fall free and she could get away without any repercussions, whilst not giving a flying toss about the other person.

 

Just like all the other hit and runs here. They simply don't give a hoot about others, and self advantage and escape from as much responsibility as possible is the game of the day. 

 

Disgusting social behavioral trait. 

In her defence i assume she did not want to stop because she feared the traffic  behind her would maybe drive in too her and so she did not want to create an unsafe situation on the road.
