hi, i am under 50 , got married to a thai citizen, we have 2 children, ( 7 years and 6 years old), i have some question:

i got my second visa extension for 1 year non-o (400.000 b in thai account ,all the proper paper with it, this was before the new visa rule,),my visa is valid till september 2007, i havent a work permit didnt work, i just invest in a bar, my wife and i got the name on the contrat , but we both dont work in the bar as well, i would like to know for the next visa extension, what i have to show ?? or proove, the immigration know me as a sport man ( thai boxing)

1 : can i re apply for a 1 years , and what is for you the best way to do it (thkx in advance)

2 : should i set up a compagny for the bar?,

3 : should i show monthly incone(like i read in some thread) 40.000 b per month?

4 : or can i if i am under 50 (dont need to proove any monthly incone, or show the 400.000 b, cause i am married to a thai citizen, and have 2 children?

5 : i do to fighting ,but i dont get salaries, the promoter pay me hand by hand, can i apply or help me for the new rules ? even i havent a work permit for fight :D

You are grandfathered under the old rules, meaning 400,000 in the bank will do. The only difference is that now the money must be in the bank 3 months before you apply for the extension.

As for 4): You'll have to wait until you are 50 before you can apply for an extension "to be with your kids" without having to prove income or funds.

As for 5): It certainly won't do you any good - as far as the authorities go - that you are having income in Thailand without a workpermit.
