The article states the passenger who recorded it was male, not female and is confirmed by the video of the incident.

Presumably if the passenger had been female, he would have been more wary of engaging in that kind of 'locker room' talk .

I know taxi and tuk-tuk and song-taew drivers who have been to University and took these jobs because of unavailability of work in their field.

I have a taxi driver in my Thai family who went to school to learn English to get a better job and is now a private driver for the boss of a Japanese company.

It's complete BS and I hope they do get the shaft for filming without consent or whatever it is. He was a bogun but didn't do anything illegal IMO. Locker room talk and the passenger was egging him on.

Of course it was, it was a private conversation in a cab. The passenger was encouraging the driver and deceiving him by drawing him out with further questions. If he found the conversation objectionable he had every opportunity to say so, but clearly he didn't have the b@lls to express his opinion. I wonder how many apples this pathetic specimen brought in for teacher.

Joss is a man's name and besides in the video itself he's speaking to the driver and he clearly has a male voice.

 

I heard a few thai words i recognize like "hee" and doo hee.

 

At least the considerate bloke actually 'goes down' on women. Most Thai blokes I have spoken to either consider it beneath them. Bit of the ole 'chai paak' is certainly on my menu. Best of luck to him.
