Hal65
I am surprised this is not more common in Pattaya. I found a little bottle of Japanese brown rice vinegar which was expensive given the quantity. I do not need brown rice vinegar in particular, any rice vinegar will do as long as the price is a bit more in line. do any of the major chains regularly stock rice vinegar? aren't there any thai brands for this? williewolf
I bought a 700ml bottle of jasmine rice vinegar " kewpie" from Big c. Cant remember the price but it was not expensive. It was located with the other vinegars, not with the falang foods
Hal65
you're right, I just saw it for 49 baht. Also picked up some pineapple vinegar for 23 baht.
KittenKong
They have cheap rice vinegar in Makro also. Can't say I particularly like the flavour as I'm used to wine vinegar, but if you put some shallots in the bottle the flavour improves after a week or so.
