PHUKET:-- One man died while another was injured following a motorbike crash in Karon early this morning.

Two Chinese nationals, named Yang Dong, 36, and Hengquan Zhang, 22, were found lying on the ground in pools of blood at the Karon beachfront near the 'Beyond Resort' hotel at about 2am.

“By the time the ambulance arrived, Mr Dong had already died,” said Capt Weerayuth Thansirisukhaworakul of the Karon Police.

I see them riding terribly everyday. Slow and zig zag their lanes.
Really novice riders should not be on phuket roads. It's a death warrant.
It's sounds bad but my tip is to speed. Ride faster than the traffic flow and you'll be fine.

I miss the standard excuse wording in "the Gazette": ... manoeuvring on unknown terrain / poor road condition and under totally unexpected weather conditions..." but then...this wording is mostly used for bus and van drivers after one of their horrific crashes

RIP guys

So the Chinese also suffer the same fate as the Farang

Interesting

8% this last year

if it goes on like this what will it be this year

Bearing in mind all foreigners including the Chinese are 'Farang' it warps your comment a bit.

The Chinese as a group are the biggest foreign danger on the road. I had one come to a dead stop in front of me the other day in the middle of a clear road and he was very lucky not to end up as a hood ornament.

They have no road sense whatsoever (pottering along and wobbling everywhere) and are so absorbed with selfie sticks they have no idea what lies ahead. I'm surprised more aren't killed.
