Moving immigration region

Featured Replies

I wish to move to Isaan , I have a current retirement visa and live near Trang.  I report to Kandang and next  90 day report due mid February.  Can I report to Kohn Kaen.  I have Accom and owner will attend immigration with me....thank you...

I would suggest filing a TM-28 (for you) and TM-30 (with your landlord's help) upon arrival at the new location.  Don't wait for your next 90-day report - do it within 24 hours of arrival.  That should prevent any unexpected fines with any future immigration-business at your new office.

Yes, if you move to Khon Kaen (city or province) which is not quite clear from your post.

Moving near Kalasin, sorry, first attempt...thanks

I'd let the immigration office in Trang know too.

Not certain whether Kalasin has it's own office now?

I am not aware of an obligation to check-out?

If the OP moves to Kalasin before next 90 day report due there is nothing to tell Trat.

To err is human.

Kalasin does not have its own immigration office yet. You will report to the office in Sakon Nakhon.

Obviously , you never had to deal with Nan immigration.

Is it that much effort to send them a letter ?

To err is human , dude ? Well I don't want to be human!

Are there two immigration offices for people who live in KK?  One city and one rural?

You need to learn how to properly quote posts. The above is an example of how it can be deone.

He meant it is the same name for the province and city.

It's not clear from the OP's posts exactly where he is moving to.

He asks if he can report to Khon Kaen, then states

Would that be Kalasin City, or near Kalasin Province, which could mean he is in Khon Kaen province.

If the OP could be more precise, then we can define which Imm office he needs to attend.
