SI SA KET, 16 January 2017 (NNT) – The Commissioner General of Immigration Bureau visited Chong Sa Ngam Permanent Crossing Point to provide moral support to the Si Sa Ket Immigration Office.

Immigration Bureau Chief Natthorn Phraohsunthorn and Immigration Bureau Deputy Chief Phornchai Khantee visited Chong Sa Ngam Permanent Crossing Point to provide moral support to Si Sa Ket Immigration Office. The Chong Sa Ngam Permanent Crossing Point is a popular border crossing point, bustling with both Thai and foreign tourists.

The Immigration Bureau Chief said that Chong Sa Ngam Permanent Crossing Point is increasing receiving visitors, as it is opposite Cambodia’s Oddar Meanchey.

Inspections at the Permanent Crossing Point must be standardized, transparent and accountable in accordance with Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s policy, says the bureau chief.

I have used this crossing into Cambodia many times. Hardly very popular with foreign tourists from my observations. In fact on one crossing with a few friends, they had to send out for a supply of visa application forms , delaying our passage somewhat!
