Axe-wielding mom stops rapist

A vigilant mother hacked a man twice in the head on Sunday night for ellegedly attempting to rape her 17-year-old daughter at their home in Kampong Speu province’s Oudong district, leaving him unconscious and hospitalized. A district police officer who gave his name only as Ny said the attack happened when the man was attempting to rape the woman’s daughter at their home.

 

“The man attempted to rape her 17-year-old daughter, but he was caught in the act by her mother, who took an axe and hacked him twice on the head, leaving him unconscious,” he said. Mr. Ny added that the man was sent to the district referral hospital before being sent to the provincial police station for further questioning. The suspect was identified as Seng Horn, 56.
 

A provincial police officer, who asked to remain anonymous, confirmed the attempted rape, but was unsure if the suspect had been sent to his office yet. “According to the report, he was trying to rape the victim, but her mother showed up and attacked him twice with an axe,” he said.
