BANGKOK: -- As southern residents grew concerned over possible new round of floodings this week amid more rain forecast in the region, the prime minister has scheduled to inspect flood situation in the southern provinces next week.

 

Yesterday Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha ordered the Interior Ministry to urgently help the flood victims and plan long term assistance measures.

 

He has thanked the public for their donations to help the flood victims.

 

He said he would host a meeting next week to plan the rehabilitation and remedy measures for the flood affected areas and victims.

This is amazing news. The PM is going to take time out from his busy schedule, to show that he cares for his people. Or should I say he cares for the masses? The poor people? The farmers? The backbone of the nation?

 

The insincerity of this man is astonishing.
