MOSCOW (Reuters) - Former U.S. intelligence contractor Edward Snowden has been given leave to remain in Russia for another couple of years, a spokeswoman for the Russian foreign ministry said.

"Snowden's residency in Russia has just been extended by another couple of years," the spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said in a post on Facebook.

Russia: "We own Snowden for the couple of next years. Hell enjoy his life with us. He is privileged, unlike our ordinary people".

Good thing Snowden didn't get any US pardon then.

Reminds me of a movie with Jack Nicholson on the stand under oath saying "You want the truth you cannot handle the truth" enough said.
