RIP

Featured Replies

Saying RIP to a buddist couldnt be more rediculous and out of order.   "Buddhists believe that after death each person is reincarnated as another being."  To keep telling them that you hope they are not reincarnated is absurb. One other thing, they cant hear you.

Ok.

Reincarnate In Perpetuity

"Buddhists believe that after death each person is reincarnated as another being."

... unless they attain nirvana. I think the moral here should be those Buddhist Thais that keep finding themselves having to 'make merit', they'll never achieve it. I kind of prefer there to be nothing; imagine coming back and having an abusive parent, as a sand worm, or a democrat for instance. :giggle:

But people saying RIP is just courtesy. Get over it.

You mean we're going to be free to choose our own after life, including not having one, based on our preferences?

youre  right ,  basing  anything on "belief" only  is  plain  stupid

Courtesy to a dead person. Not possible.

So, they can't rest a little before they start over again?

For goodness sake, No, they are dead. Dont have access to the internet.

This certainly isn't going to the Buddhism forum, and as an obvious troll I'm not going to inflict it on the Pub.

Closed as troll central.
