Concurrent Visa's Non-imm O And B?

Featured Replies

I've got a Non-immigrant O visa (1 Year) with about 8 months left on it. I recently started work in Thailand, and took a trip to Singapore to get a Non-Immigrant B visa (3 months) as I was told I could not get a work permit with the O visa I originally had.

Nothing has been written on the O visa stamp, does this mean it's still valid? So if I decided to leave on my B visa, then return and use the remainder of the O, would this be ok?

Thanks in advance.

Whoever told you, you could not get a work permit with a "O" visa was 100 % wrong. The "O' visa is still valid, if you leave and return using that visa on your entry card.

Hi, sorry I forgot to add, my O visa states 'Employment Prohibited' on it. I guess I can't get a work permit with that then?

Yes you can.

Depends where you are. If you are in Pattaya, just renew it. If you elsewhere, either get a extension of stay based on business or go outside the country and get another non immigrant visa.
