If eight Thai prostitutes charge two thousand five hundred Baht for half an hour, how much would one Thai prostitute charge for eight hours?

Is the answer five thousand Baht or is it forty thousand Baht?

Buy the house!  Lol

Were they overcharging , or undercutting the Taiwanese prostitutes ?

Half an hour seems a perfectly reasonable time ; after all according to Paolo Coelho all you need is Eleven Minutes .  My guess is that they were working illegally in Taiwan , never mind which trade .

There are NO Thai hookers  in Thailand (it's Illegal!!!)

I didn't know they used Thai Baht in Taiwan.....

Baht is  World  currency  for  prostitution ,  same as oil price is  quoted  in  dollars  ,

Disgusting behaviour ,  where is their  moral code ? .

Even the Thais overcharge out of their own country.

Money, Money, Money.

'The women were charging 2,500 baht for half an hour of their time ...',

I doubt their time would be worth that - even between all eight.

Come guys these girls dont get the money Be some guy in high place who gets it. They prob get 100 bahrt  Dont go after the girls get the guys who run them and punish them

Good for them hope they get a small fine and allowed to carry on. It's called enterprise and initiative.

Way to go girls!!

Men with wives and girlfriends pay for it also.  Probably a lot more than Bt.2,500 a pop.   An extreme example:  James Cameron, director of blockbuster movies, was married for several months to Linda Hamilton, but when they divorced, she strolled away with a cool $50 million.

While they were married only months, they were together for 6 years and had a child together. Lesson here is, if you are going to cheat on your spouse, make sure you have a prenup.

Taiwan no have lady for boom boom?

Very few ladies of the night.

Spent 18 months there and I was surprised its not a place to go if you are looking for lady fun on an evening, if anything you have a better chance of meeting a nice Taiwanese girl (GF material) whilst out.

Pity there wasn't a picture of their arrest, with Taiwan police pointing at their assets.

Ha ha ha . If you are unlucky enough to visit Banglaa in Patong or any Sing a Song for Thai's a s a foreigner the Barfine is 2000Bath and up. If you are or seem drunk double this price.

Don't go to Taiwan - cold and foggy.

depends whether you're doing it on a hillside or.......

Last time I tried to make love to a Taiwanese girl I took her out in the fog and mist.

Will there be a bar girl exodus to Taiwan now?

A bit cheeky on their part charging that much.

The NT$ and the Baht are almost equal in value:   1 TWD =1.12299THB

They were over charging and getting a little extra on the currency difference.

In Taiwan the normal rate used to be 7/11

NTD7000 short time and NTD 11,000 long time so they were offering everyone a bargain to start the New Year off with a BANG.

Never heard of 'currency conversion' then ?

What is clearly unacceptable; the B2,500 for 30 minutes, Thai women being prostitutes, taking advantage of no visa needed, having only spent two days there? Or, what?

No picture with the police pointing. That just a Thai thing then

They were working undercover(s)

Good to see at least one Thai export is still booming. Or should that be boom-booming?

And how come that these girls ended up in Taiwan?

I can tell you:

So called Brokers are travelling around in rural areas for example North of Thailand and visit families with teenage daughters and persuade them to let them arrange a "job" for the girl so she can send home good money.

The girls only get a minor part of the mentioned 2,500 B and the rest goes into pockets of scruples people.

Simply disgusting.

Thailand's rising export business. PROSTITUTION.

"8 Thai prostitutes arrested in Taiwan" would seem a more apt headline if the story is newsworthy.

Details such as their hourly rate or the clothes they wore or how they solicited are details that belong in the body of the article.
