Hi All

I am wanting to find some cheap but reasonable accom. in bangkok as iwill be staying there for about 4 days i enjoy farang food, am meeting a girl there.

many thanks

plenty of hotels, bookings.com , agoda.com

Bangkok is a big place. What area are you looking to stay? Maybe somewhere near to where you are meeting a girl would be good so that you don't have to pay for the expensive taxi.

Plenty of KFC, McDonalds and Pizza about, you wont go hungry. Enjoy.

Hi Boyce, yes i live up country so do not know bangkok at all, she will be flying in to don mueang we were wanting to stay some where in town but if that is too expensive we will have to stay a bit further out,  middle of feb.

Please define your budget TH฿ for cheap and not too expensive? Everyone has their own levels.

Hi Boyce, i was thinking about 1000 to 1500 per night not sure what i can get for that might have to go higher

Perhaps stay by the river. That way you can take the express boat to most of the popular sites, Not more than 14 baht per journey and an authentic and pleasant way to travel.
This is a good place to start, as they have five properties in that area; https://www.newsiam.net Choose to 'Skip Intro' at the bottom of the page.

New Siam 2, for instance falls in below your budget, from around 900 baht per night.
Nearest pier is Phra Athit. Most people head to Sukhumvit., but I say stay by the river. You'll have a better experience.
