Immigration on Feb the 13th (holiday)

I am due to extend my tourist visa at immigration Chaeng Watana for 1 more month on Monday the 13 of Feb but it happens that the 13th is also a public holiday (Makabudcha). Anyone know whether I can go on the 14th without being penalized for going on the 14th or should I go on the Friday the 10th? Thanks.

You could do it early and lose no days since the extension will start at the end of your current permit to stay. You could even go tomorrow and apply for the extension.

If you went on the 14th your would not be fined for the overstay since the office will be closed on the date your permit to stay ends.

Always a good idea to do a few days early in case of any problems.

If you wait until the 14th it will be very busy owing to being closed the previous 3 days.
