Where could I get something like this made in CM?

imagine the plate without the holes in the middle.

squash two with a passport in between them, thread chains through the holes and padlock to metal frame bed of similar.

im guessing it wouldn't be worth the hassle or risk to be worth taking.

but need to know where to get thick plates someone could drill some holes in.

cheers.

Are they like garden sheers?

Yes but much stronger, used for cutting off bolts

and for criminals, padlocks and chains.

I was joking.

I don't think opportunistic thieves walk around CCTV/Keycard entry buildings with industrial bolt cutters.

really just wanted to know if there is such a place I can get it done.

ive seen lots of shops with metal and spark things going on.

would they do It?

well a guy on chang puak rd next to big uni /school (ragabaht)??? not correct spell..5555

same side of road and before school coming into town. dude sells ferrous and non ferrous metal. always see him cutting perfect round holes in plate steel there. could try him. my usual go to place if i need less then full lenghts (4 meter) of metal (s).  sold by weight..........

another place i just thought of

Dang gone pratu  (red door lock )  loose translation....5555

they have a cutter there to make most any shape u want.

if you know where gekko garden is go past gekko with gekko on your left heading away from town Loi kro rd behind you. go down that road until it curves left and immediatley after curve and over bridge. shop is there on left side car parts and repairs and the cutting machine is right up front

Ragang road... i think......

There is a water-jet cut shop in some soi off  Charoen Muang, near Nawarat bridge, on the east side. They made me an end piece for the bike exhaust. Round plate with several holes inside. CNC cut, the metal is too hard to drill it. Not exactly sure where it was, too long ago, but you should find it in Google.

How about a metal box with key for your passport and other valuables? The handle should allow you to lock it to a pipe or similar.

I think I have seen something like below in both HomePro and B2S.

Of course you could also buy a safe and bolt it to the wall, but maybe not if you are only renting (short term).

Thanks but I could bite that handle off with my teeth.

I think your “metal frame bed” is also vulnerable to such attack (dismantling), or your contraption might be pried open using a lever (most thieves should have a crowbar among their tools).

I think the best approach is to find a really good hiding place, the second best would be a wall mounted safe.

The trouble with a box is people don't know what's in it.

If they seen a passport they would probably just leave it if they got easy pickings like a laptop, etc. all replaceable within an hour.

but yeah, I have a safe backup plan. Just need to spend time finding one first.
