HI, HELP PLEASE , i just bought a security camera, the guy ran through it with me in the shop,

i just got home , and trial ran it, plugged the micro sd card into my laptop, i can see the shops

vids running ok, that he showed me., (vid of the shop and people walking by)

 i done a test vid but when i tried to run mine, on my computer, i got the message,"cannot play via windows media player

player may not support file type or the codec that was used to compress the file,  ideas please.

Download this and try http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

+1 for Vlc , if it doesn't play with vlc then it most likely can't be played by anything.

thanks for the replies guys i see  POTPLAYER, downloaded, found the card and played it no problems. job sorted, i did read that Win media player is outdated, something like when win 7 came out, 2009 which i have on my laptop, ok enough of whitering on. thanks
